Tara Neider, PE
President & CEO
Ms. Neider has an MS and BS in Mechanical Engineering from MIT and an MBA, Finance and International Business from New York University.
She began her career at Westinghouse Nuclear Services Division as a design engineer. She joined Transnuclear in 1986 and has held various positions within engineering and Project Management. Between 2001 and 2004, Ms. Neider worked for Constellation Nuclear Services and the Constellation Generation Group. She rejoined Transnuclear in May, 2004 as Sr. Vice President Engineering and was responsible for all Transnuclear engineering activities. She was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer in January, 2006.
Bob Grubb PE
Senior Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Grubb has an MS in Civil Engineering and BS in Engineering Mathematics and has over 35 years experience in managing, performing and auditing all aspects of engineering design and analyses in commercial as well as government sectors for both the nuclear and aerospace industries.
Mr. Grubb is responsible for all Transnuclear engineering, project management, project engineering, licensing and field operations activities. Mr. Grubb has extensive program and project management and regulatory compliance/licensing experience which includes the development and implementation of processes, procedures, implementation of quality control, and the development and implementation of training programs. His technical experience includes areas such as hazardous materials management, linear and nonlinear structural dynamics and stress analysis, testing, fracture mechanics, fluid structure interaction, statistics, and computer code development. He has also provided consulting to regulatory agencies and testified in public hearings.
Jean Merveilleux du Vignaux
Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Jean Merveilleux du Vignaux is a graduate from the French University Paris-Dauphine with a Masters in Financial Management and a post graduate diploma in Capital Markets and Commodities.
He has been working with AREVA since 1997. He worked six years at the Group trading room in Paris where he was in charge of financial operations for the hedging of financial risks associated with the FX and the commodity markets. He also managed the asset portfolios of the group on the security markets and dealt with strategies of funding for AREVA. In 2003, he was appointed Corporate Treasurer for AREVA in North America where he implemented a cash pooling system for all American and Canadian AREVA affiliates. In September 2005, he joined Transnuclear, Inc. as Chief Financial Officer.
Steve White
Director, Corporate Quality Assurance
Mr. White holds a BS (Geology) from the University of Massachusetts (1973) and an MS (Geology) from the University of New Hampshire (1975). He has over thirty years of nuclear quality assurance and quality management experience.
He is responsible for establishing and implementing quality policy for all Transnuclear, Inc locations consistent with 10CFR71, Subpart H; 10CFR72, Subpart G; 10 CFR50, Appendix B; and ASME Section III, Division 1 and Division 3. He also maintains a liaison with customers, regulatory agencies, and the ASME on quality policy and administration, provides QA and fabrication oversight support for all quality related design and fabrication projects, and supports corporate initiatives relative to Sustainable Development and Continuous Improvement.
Glenn Guerra
Director of Projects
Mr. Guerra is a graduate of Indian Institute of Technology with a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from University of Kentucky. He also completed AREVA University Lewis & Clark (Cycle 3) Management Program at Harvard Business School.
He oversees all project management activities and is responsible for all external project budgets, project schedule performance and customer satisfaction. He has broad experience as an engineering analyst, project engineer, project manager, engineering discipline manager and director of projects. He has primary responsibility for customer interface and satisfaction and ensures that schedules and cost estimates are developed which are realistic and achievable. He is also responsible for financial aspects of contracts with customers. Mr. Guerra has special expertise in thermal analysis and detailed experience with analytical codes, industry standards and regulatory requirements. He has been with TN since 1981. He was responsible for the thermal analysis, evaluation of results, preparation of SAR material and licensing activities with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. His role as Director of Engineering Projects oversees the engineering personnel to assure contractual/design standards and customer requirements are met and comply with the industry standards.
Jayant Bondre PhD
Director of Engineering and Licensing
Dr. Bondre has a Ph.D in Nuclear Engineering from State University of New York. During his 26 year tenure with Transnuclear and in predecessors, Dr. Bondre has worked as a Lead Engineer, Project Engineer, Project Manager, Engineering Manager, and Director of Engineering and Licensing.
As Director of Engineering and Licensing, he has technical responsibility for all design and licensing analysis activities and directs all Design Engineers and Licensing personnel on NUHOMS® and metal cask projects. He has worked extensively in thermal, radiation shielding and criticality analysis of spent fuel dry storage systems, Type B packaging for transport of irradiated spent fuel, radioactive liquids, and interim radiological waste storage facilities. Dr. Bondre is one of the early inventors of the NUHOMS dry storage technology and has been involved with it and other nuclear material packaging designs for the last 20 years. He supports the Senior Vice President of Engineering in overseeing the technology development efforts.
Catherine Anne
Director of Transportation
Catherine Anne holds the equivalent of a Master degree in Business. She has a unique and very complementary profile with 19 years of expertise with transportation of radioactive and nuclear materials in Europe but also 6 years in the United States. She started her career in the Transportation Department of AREVA in 1983 at La Hague Reprocessing plant in Normandy. During her 19 years in France at La Hague and in Paris, she has been responsible for numerous types of shipments including spent fuel, vitrified waste, plutonium, mox, enriched uranium, etc. She moved to the United States in 2001 to manage spent fuel shipments in close cooperation with the Department of Energy and other Federal entities. Since June 2008, she is in charge of the radioactive and nuclear transportation activities within Transnuclear Inc. in Columbia, Maryland
Michael P. Williams
Director of Business Development
Mr. Williams is responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships that lead to eventual contracts. He is heavily involved in introducing new processes that will eventually lead to increased efficiency and improved quality of the work performed at TN.
Mr. Williams has over 25 years of experience in the management and administration of technical projects. His expertise includes project management, proposal development, organizational assessment, training and operations. His 8 years in the enlisted Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program in 1981 provided a solid foundation to progress through various assignments including Radiological Engineering, Plant Operations, Outage Management, Project Management, and Business Development. This natural progression has enabled him to understand and speak on issues that are vitally important to each discipline within the utility customer. Since 1998 his focus has been the safe and efficient operation of placing spent fuel into interim dry fuel storage. He has worked with most canister types currently licensed including BFS, NAC and NUHOMS. |
